A colouring table can be the beginning of a friendship. Through Malaysia Deepavali, PROWINS brought families together in the spirit of Malaysia Day.

According to the organiser’s report, the programme brought together more than 200 people, with around 100 colouring competition participants. Four categories — A, B, C and D — provided opportunities to take part, including parents in Category D.

Move, create, connect

A Zumba session by Nadiah Fitness set an energetic tone, followed by a “Hari Malaysia!” cheer before the competition. Students from Kolej Kemahiran TVET Sandakan contributed through a practical food-service activity.

Sandakan Yacht Club provided the venue and facilities. PROWINS thanks YB Lisa Hassan Alban, the committee, partners, volunteers, parents and participants for contributing to the programme.

Our next gathering

The journey continues with Malam Cahaya Harmoni on 31 October 2026 at Dewan Visi, Vision Primary School, Sandakan.
